Coaches Wanted

Princeton Minor Hockey is always looking for coaches for our house hockey program.

In addition, this year, the Bantam Rep Team is looking for a strong team of coaches for a successful 2019-2020 season, including: Head coach; Assistant coach; and Team trainer(s).

 Team Managers include: Crystal Groves, Jessica Gunn and Jaclyn Whitecotton, with Derek Greening on the coaching staff.

 Training Requirements:

• First Aid Training
• Respect in Sport
• Criminal Record Check
• BC Hockey Development 1 coach training

Job Type: Part Time (evening practices and weekend games - potential am practice)

Job Responsibilities

• Player evaluation and selection
• Working with the minor hockey faculty to implement seasonal progression plans
• Planning and conducting practices
• Planning and implementing pre-game player preparation and communication
• Supervising players during all team events including games and practices
• Ensuring players comply with team/club rules at all times
• Work with Manager regarding player or parent issues
• Attending applicable coaching development sessions

 All expressions of interest are accepted. Preference is given to non-parent coaching staff.

 Qualified, non-parent coaches of Representative teams will be paid from the Bantam Team Parents and to be negotiated with potential coaches.
